Climate Spring consults on procedural series Weiss & Morales (RTVE, ZDF and ZDF Studios)
In this procedural series, a German BKA agent and a Spanish Civil Guard sergeant reluctantly team up to investigate a crime in the Canary Islands' German community, navigating cultural differences.
Climate Spring is delighted to have acted as a consultant on upcoming procedural series Weiss & Morales (RTVE, ZDF and ZDF Studios).
The Canary Islands are one of the most desirable tourist destinations in the world. Millions of people travel to the archipelago every year. And some decide to stay. One of the largest colonies is the German community. There are more than thirty thousand citzens who have decided to settle in one of the seven islands. And there are more than 3,000,000 who come every year to spend a few days in the sun. When a crime involves a German citizen, a BKA agent may be required to participate as an observer.
Weiss & Morales is a luminous and light, easy-to-follow crime procedural that combines the most classic elements of the genre reformulating it with the current criteria of premium television fiction. A series that, without neglecting the investigative aspects, delves into the characters. Bringing the protagonists closer with their personal plots and attending cases that illustrate essential aspects of the human condition, in a universe in which normal people are those involved in a crime. The relationship between our protagonists is full of humour. A humour resulting from situations and misunderstandings. Humour that speaks of the cultural clash and opposing personalities that exist between them.
